Safety

Crystal therapy and reiki are complementary therapies that may be used with confidence alongside orthodox healthcare. However, they are not an alternative to conventional medicine. You should always consult a GP about infectious or acute conditions, and in connection with problems of an urgent nature.

What are Crystal and Reiki Therapies?

These are both invaluable in dealing with the stresses of our hectic lifestyles of today. Known as holistic therapies, they treat the whole person (body, mind and spirit), providing the balance and harmony which can be lost when we are tired, feel stressed or are ill. Both of these therapies are safe, and can bring deep relaxation, a reduction in stress, and a sense of calm and well being.

My background briefly…

 I have felt an affinity with crystals since living in a mountainous region of Africa as a child, and have much experience of working with crystals. I have a Diploma in Crystal Therapy.

My travels in the Nepal Himalaya increased my spiritual awareness, and  led to my interest in Reiki. I started to work with Reiki in 1999.

I have extensive experience of working with health issues, having worked initially as a Nurse, then as a full time Midwife for over 12 years, a year of which I worked in Midwifery Education. My NHS experience also includes 5 years of Public Health work, where I both gained much valuable experience of understanding the broader influences upon health, and supported many people through major lifestyle changes.

I am fully insured and particularly enjoy teaching, and seeing students develop their capabilities as healers.
